Hi,
I upgraded my O2 XDA II with Hma update utility to WM 5.0.
Before in the WM 2003SE there was a very good program as "Running Programs" using which i could stop all running programs at once........un fortunately theres nothing of that sort in WM 5.0...........For doing the same in 5.0 i have to go to settings > system > memory > running progs.
i was wondering if there is some kind of a registery entry or some Lnk file through wich i could get it back in 5.0 then it would be great....
Thanks / Regards
Aditya Kapadia.
Running programs

I know it's probably covered somewhere, but with so many posts on the Cube and FTouchFlo, I can't find it.... How do I get the gesture system to work on HTCAlbum after installing FTouchFlo? It's in the list of exclusions properly, but the gestures no longer work; even if I disable FTouchFlo and soft-reset my Kaiser.
Sorry guys. Is the attached file corrupted or not complete?

Will this work on square screens (240x240)
Works really well, thank you!
I installed this cab and all icons and configuration screens are there, but the gestures don't work.
When I want to start touchflo manually it's says it's already running so I'm sure the gestures don't work.
Any suggestions?
I may have to try this once the results are in....

WM5
Does this work with wm5 standard oem rom devices?
Is it the original Cube?
Is the media player interactive?
Will have efrosts touchflo installed affect it?
Thanks
It works! I followed all of the instructions in the readme file: Removed the touchflo that I already had on the device (For removing previous touchflo versions: I had my old touchflo in the start up menu in windows, and was having trouble getting rid of it since it was already running. So I cut and pasted touchflo to a different folder, soft reset, and was able to delete it so it wasn't running at start up anymore), already had HTC Home on there, installed the cab installer, went into the touchflo config file and enabled touchflo, did a soft reset, and it works perfectly.
...only thing is the "New E-Mail" and "SMS/MMS" tab seems dead, but it still works from HTC Home.
The "contact" side takes a couple of seconds to come up but thats expected. Everything else works like a charm. Easily the best one-stop .cab installer of the Touch Cube that I've tried so far.
Thanks for the post.
...sorry....I forgot:
It works fine on my AT&T 8525, WM6 offical AT&T Rom. Thanks again!
If you had FtouchFlo installed previously, make sure you delete the exe file from /Windows/Startup and leave the one from the cab installation. My cube worked after that.
ADD Device Compatibility
Works great here. I'm using a Blue Angel running xplode's latest WM6 ROM.
Thanks for the great work!
Ok, so I installed the 6.1 update from utstarcom (original not custom dcd or other roms) and I am confused about the running programs feature.
Whether I go to Start/Settings/Memory or Start/Programs/Running Programs I see the Memory application only. Two tabs with Main and Storage Card, but not the running programs list like there was on WM6 (before the update).
Did the update screw up the two applications? How can I close or stop applications from running now? Any way to fix this in the registry or other way without redoing the entire flash?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
The running programs can be found by tapping the top right quick menu button on the today screen if you have the quick menu enabled or by going Start/Settings/Task Manager.

WM - Settings -> System -> Remove Programs
Samsung - Settings -> (scroll down) Memory Settings -> Main Storage (this will remove prog's installed on my storage as well as memory card too) - Find your program and delete.

What about the memory settings in the Samsung setting menu?
Hi, does anyone know how to get rid of the opera9.5 installled in the phone? i've downloade/installed the new opera10 and have no use for the 9.5 version.
Opera 9.5 is included in the ROM!
You can only flash new ROM without Opera 9.5

Just delete it from the start menu so you dont have 2 Opera icons in the start menu.
As previously mentioned by another member it is in the rom so cant be removed unless you flash a cooked rom.

I have tried this method. However I do not find any listing of apps that I have installed to "My Storage".
I installed a flashlight app from here on xda, via .cab file. It didn't work, so I am trying to un-install it. It was installed to "My Storage".
Although unable to remove this app on-phone, I was able to uninstall the cab using ActiveSync (synce-kpm in my case) from a desktop PC.
Hi,
So, I installed QuickMenu from PocketPC Freewares:
http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-quickmenu-v2-7.html
Problem is what worked with WM6.1 doesn't work with WM6.5. It doesn't start up after a soft reset even though the options are set to start up after reset.
Can anyone recommend an alternative program for QuickMenu that does work in WM6.5?
Thanks in advance.
anyone?
have any alternatives? I'm thinking that there has to be something but searching google for Quickmenu alternatives doesn't lead to anything major.
Any help? Please?

I use QuickMenu with WM 6.5.
Check that you have a shortcut "QuickMenu.lnk" in \Windows\Startup.
Quick menu could be used on 6.5. Find the appropriate version
I use this version:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4101818&postcount=28
It works very well on tmo TP2 with stock 6.5 rom.
Apparently there are a few more tweaks needed when using QM on wm6.5 but that cab has done everything needed.
THANK YOU!!! I ve been looking for this forever
Hi all,
I have downloaded few tweaks & was trying those. I found that the phone is quite fast. But when I found that there is no SETTINGS menu available I was frustrated. I dunno exactly when it got deleted. How can I get it back to start menu? Can anyone let me know if any registry values to be entered to enabling it again? I believe that people here will help me out definitely. Is there any other way which from which i can restore the settings in start menu?
Thanks to you all in advance...
Waiting reply..... Please help me to get rid of this problem...
Mandar M. Oke.
Are we speaking about "cooking development" or simply you installed some tweaks in a downloaded custom rom?
Some minimum informations are required such:
_WM build
_which kind of tweaks did you make.
_a build log
Maybe u changed thé Hidesettings value to 1 instead of 0 if u use Manila ...
