Low sound on Universal when recieving calls - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro General

Seem to experience low sound on Universal when recieving calls, anyone else this issue?

In the menu, make sure you have the speakerphone activated (If indeed you mean when trying to answer calls in landscape mode) The slider on the side alters the volume in portrait (Phone up to ear) mode.

Voice Command and vibrate mode => no ring

I have the following problem when in vibrate mode.
If I use the Voice Command and the command is not understood or if I'm silent, at the end of the "listening" period of VC the volume icon on top becomes as in the normal mode (On) but the two volumes stay at the minimum level which actually is the vibrate mode.
As a consequence , if I receive a call there is no vibration nor sounds and is really annoying :x
Anyone had this problem?
Yes, same issue here.
When phone is in vibrating mode VC isn't working (doesn't matter if I use a headset or not). And sometimes the vibrating mode is switched off and the sound mode is turned on but volume level 0.
I've learned to change to non-silent mode before using VC.
I'm using the lates QTEK ROM in german and had the same issue with the T-Mobile ROM before.

Incoming skype calls while in standby mode

Hello all,
I have the following problem:
While in standby mode (screen turned off) incoming skype calls only turn on the screen and open a notification window BUT they don't trigger any "ring" signal.
If the device is turned on everything works as one would expect i.e. an incomming call generates a "ring" signal l
Any ideas ?
Thanks in advance for any hint
Florian.
P.S. Two additional questions related to skype: Is there any way to map the Tytn buttons (phone buttons ideally) to use them for answering/rejecting a call ? Same wrt the speaker: Any way to have Skype use the phone speaker instead of the device speaker ?
anyone ? any idea ?
(shameless bump...)
For the record:
I found the answer here: http://forum.skype.com/index.php?showtopic=63173&hl=tytn
*sigh*...

a few feature requests to enhance usability...maybe add these to an upcoming rom?

hey guys,
a few little annoyances that might be a quick fix: i'd like an option to specify whether or not the "Sound Off" slider on the lock screen goes to silent mode or vibrate mode. (one option turns off all sound, but turns on vibrate, the other option turns off sound and vibrate).
also, i think it's absurd that android's silent mode still allows media volume to come out of the speaker. i think silent mode should turn off the speaker, and only allow audio if headphones are plugged in, but i can see this being a much more involved and intricate change than the previous request. can anyone look into this?
I don't think this is going to happen.
i agree this is a very annoying "feature".. in every other phone silent mode means, vibrate when someone calls usually.
its very rare for me to want to disable notifcations of calls completly (i would rather just shutdown the phone?)
i never actually modded or even compiled android sources but i am a programmer by profession and it seems like a simple patch..
This really pisses me off that silent mode is actually won't ring but will bleep and wizz at every email and text. Silent should be silent.

Disable silence mode

My question is, whenever I get a call my ringtone goes but when I click on the side buttons (volume up/down or power on/off) the ringtone is silenced. The call is not disconnected but I can't hear my ringtone anymore.
I've searched and I think this is what they call the SILENCE MODE, but I was wondering if I can disable this. Because I have my phone in my pocket and sometimes one of those buttons is pushed by accident which means I don't hear that someone is calling me.
Is it possible to disable this?

Constant noise in the microphone

The phone's microphone does not work during phone calls, the caller hears only noises and crackles. When recording in the default recorder is the same, but when I switch the recording mode to interview mode or meeting mode the microphone works properly and there is no noise. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? I have restored the phone to factory settings, reinstalled the software and still the same problem.
