Try to hard reset by holding down the two buttons on the left side of your Neo (Camera and communication buttons) simultanously and at the same time press soft reset. You will see a message "Press Send to restore...". Press Dial button then!
Good luck!

Thank you very much for your help. Now the problem seem to be solve but not all. I did hard reset 3 times after you guy told me and the third is succesful. Then I installed all the program I need again, some of them need soft reset before installation and then I found that maybe the problem is because of the soft rest. Almost everytimes I performe soft reset, it end up at the screen of windows mobile again and stuck at that position then I have to hard reset again.
I searched through internet for this problem, I found that some one also cannot boot their o2 but all of them stuck at the o2 splash water screen, not at windows mobile screen like me. And one of them gave a hint that may be because when I performed soft reset I press the button to quick and I should hold on for two or three seconds but his pda is o2mini and mine is o2 neo, so I'm not sure that it is the same reason or not.
Do you think is that because this o2 neo of my has a problem or is it normal thing that could happen?

Hallo Guy, I think I found the problem. I think the problem because I installed spb pocket plus version 3.0.1 which is the old version to my neo and this cause a problem. I search through the internet again and found another one who have the same problem like me. Actually before I bought this o2 neo, I used HP rx3715 before. my rx3715 use windows mobiles 2003SE so I didn't have the same problem with my old pda. Unfortunately, because I changed to the new one, so I cannot utilize many programs, I used to utilize in my rx3715, in my neo For example this spb pocket plus version 3.0.1 and agenda fusion version 6. anyway thx for your help!!! 8)

XDA Exec, STUCK ON SPLASH SCREEN

Ok, Ive got a new problem with my XDA Exec.
Opened it up and tryied to turn on the backlight and nothing. tried a soft reset, nothingtried a hard reset now it just sticks on the splash screen, the red writing comes up on the right and side and just hangs there forever!
Please help
You're stuck. apparently the only remedy is turning it in to repair. For most of us it is under warranty.
Just off the phone to 02. Theres sending me a new one via courier on monday. it's less than a day old.
Is this a comon fault with the Exec?
erm ... I managed to experience this problem.
I was trying to uninstall SPB GPRS thingy that comes with the O2 package, and it just wouldn't go. I ended up deleting the program files and getting an error when it started up, so I deleted the GPRSNotify file under Startup. It never worked again ...
I got the splash screen, tried soft and hard resetting and various permutations (including standing on one leg and while holding breath) ... nothing. Did try to install fresh ROM, but startup wouldn't get far enough to let PC load ROM over USB.
Ended up contacting O2 who sent me a nice shiny new one, as it was only three weeks old. This time I haven't installed GPRS monitor thingy, and I don't intend to fiddle with it again ... or at least until I've forgotten my lesson ...
Sorry i ment to give you guys an update on this. I did manage to get it working again, although i still accepted the new one the sent to me.
What i did was installed a new rom off the 02 website. at 1st the computer couldnt see the phone so wot i did was enter what i think was the programming side of the phone. i found the instructions on how to this on the net. i think i pressed the 2 soft keys and the light switch while pressing the reset switch with the stylus (i think that was the buttons but unsure as i cant find the page again) when the screen light up again there was some faint writing on the screen with the word serial or usb. Double clicked on the rom file and 30mins later my phone was revived.
Funny it was the gprs monitor that i too installed before the phone screwed up? ive since installed it again on the new phone and have had no problems with it since.

Is my O2 XDA Mini S dead??

I tried installing spb pocket plus and, just after it installed, my Wizard didn't seem to be responding so I tried soft resetting it. On booting up it showed the O2 splash screen and then the Windows Mobile screen but nothing else. The screen goes dark as the backlight is turned off but you can still see the Windows Mobile screen showing. Each time I soft reset the same thing happens.
I've tried soft resetting about 4-5 times now and the same thing happens again. I've even taken the battery out and put it back in and the same thing happens. I was going to try reinstalling the O2 XDA firmware but as I can't get the Wizard to connect to ActiveSync I can't do that.
Has anyone got any ideas? At the moment I'm without my phone & all the PDA functions on the phone and I really want it back.
Thanks for any advice.
Matthew
Think you may need to do a hard reset to put it back to it's factory state. Should work then.
Thanks, I'd been trying to do a hard reset but it didn't seem to work - then it occurred to me that I was actually pressing the wrong button to confirm the reset!
Hard reset works and gets it up and running again although, from checking, it seems that there's some problem between sdp pocket plus (3.0.0.3888) as I've now installed that about 3-4 times and each time, after doing a soft reset, the Wizard crashes and won't respond.

stucked on 2nd splash screen

hi guys, this might seem to be posted a lot of times but i havent found anyone who experienced the same problem as me. ive flashed a custom rom (not found in xda dev) and the phone went well for 3 weeks to a month.however, today(lunchtime) i had a problem i soft reset my device and i was stuck at the 2nd splashed screen. i dont think my hermes is bricked because i can do anything a normal hermes do before. (pda function, calls, sms) really no problem at all until today. ive done what the wiki said like
Problem 2: stuck on windows mobile screen
Try to soft reset with stylus and wait 5 minutes on the windows mobile screen to see if OS boots
If all you get is same windows mobile screen, remove the battery for some time (about 20 min should be enough) and put it again.
Again, if all you get is same windows mobile screen do a hard reset.
If doesn't solve the problem do a hard reset, but do not press spacebar to reboot after. Instead, do a soft reset with stylus when the device asks you to press spacebar.
Check if you might have the NO GSM Problem
well i cant go pass the 2nd splash screen so what i did was hard reset it. and problems gone. my concern is ive lost a lot of documents because of what happened. so i just wanna ask you guys what could be the problem and the solution to prevent this from happening again.
much respect to all here!
TIA
What do you do just before the problem occur?
best thing to do is hard reset you phone this will reinstall you OS and resolve the problem. You need to old the 2 top soft key and press the reset but with your stylus. This will then bring then take u into the hard reset mode. follow the prompts on ur screen by using your keyboard .
This will work as i have experienced the same problem
kind regards
Ash
Did u happen to
a) disable the bottom tray
or
b) set PIE cache to storage card?
Both tend to cause this, tho not in every case.

s200 won't boot into windows anymore

hi,
i recently wanted to simply restart my qtek s200 (g3), it stops at the blue windows mobile boot screen and just hangs and does nothing (i've waited for hours).
I am not using any mods, simply the original rom/software. The only thing extra installed is 3rd party software and the home screen from the new htc touch (i've have been using it for some time now, and yes, i have been able to reboot several times during that period).
I have no idea why it isn't working anymore since I have been using it in an ordinary fashion and have not installed any software lately...
What I have tried so far:
- soft reset
- removing battery, sd card, sim card
- hard reset is impossible due to the fact that my comm button no longer functions.
Any ideas how I can get this phone to boot in windows again?
If there is no "normal" way, then a hard reset would also work for me as the phone contains no important data.
Let me know if you need more info.
Thanks!

Since no hard reset is available... try removing the battery for the whole night.
If you do manage to get to windows then watch out for the startup folder, you're probably overloading the memory at startup.(htc home and psxut eat a lot at startup and windows as well)
i have removed the battery, sim and sd, and just left it there the whole night, but it still won't go further than the windows boot screen...
any suggestions ?
is is possible to do a hard reset by connecting it to usb and enter the bootloader somehow ? if yes, how ?
thanks!
hi,
have you tryed entering bootloader by the normal process?
"Hold down the camera button and reset the device. (Boot Loader Mode is: Press Camera + Soft Reset, then release soft reset and keep pressing camera button till appear the Boot Loader.)"
regards
yes, I can get into the bootloader, I can then also connect with USB with a notification at the bottom of the screen saying it's connected. However, I have no idea what to do afterwards ...

Okay then there is still hope.. When you have connected the device run an opdate tool like the NVID WM5 Rom.. that should work as a hard reset..
are there any working links available for this ? rapidshare seems to have disabled this...
thanks!

As long as you are able to enter bootloader then you can flash it with any old prophet rom. I had the same issue after installing WM6 rom. I used a Spanish rom on wiki to bring it back and then installed WM6 VII touch. So far it has worked well for a week.
HTC 6tab Home screen killed my 818pro!!!!!!
Here is what happened a few days back. My 818pro (aka prophet) suddenly heat up while not in use 3 days ago. I thought it was caused by the hot weather in my country (I was driving with aircond in full blast). The heating up eventually go away. Then 2 day later, after I put down a call, my phone just frozen / hung. Hence, I do a soft reset & guess what It never recovered & stop at the black screen with the dopod logo while restarting. Some service centre I visited told me that the main memory chip need replacement & reflash!!! I can't even see the window screen. I have use the HTC 6tab for 2 months & I am very sure it's the culprit here. Hopefully you are not having the same problem like me
Try plug in the ac charger before u do soft reset. My phone need it in order to restart after soft reset (after I started using the HTC 6tab Home Screen).
That is before my phone die yesterday

Hi guys,
I have the same problem, but the hardreset did not change anything.
ideas what to do anyone?
well i have the same problem... LOOONG time ago...
i did a hard reset several times... it helps maybe for 1~2 weeks.. but not longer.
then i get the same problem again..
i use stock ROM (i didn't install others because if i have big problems with stock, i think it would NEVER boot with custom ROM) and only few of programs installed: co0kie's home tab, opera mobile 10, xtract, doodle jump and resco file explorer... and that's all i have!!!!! so i don't think that's program issue... previously, i didn't use co0kie's home tab and i have the same problem
I sent it to repair center, they said it's damaged by water... they fixed it... worked for about 1 week, then i had some problems with phone app, sent it back to repair, they said a hook-up was linked incorrectly in one place. then they said it will work perfect, they fixed everything...
but now, after 1 more week, IT FREEZES AGAIN!!!!!!
PLEASE PEOPLE HELP ME!!!!!! I GOOGLED IT FOR AGES!!!!! and found NOTHING helpful!!!
