Voice Command and vibrate mode => no ring - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

I have the following problem when in vibrate mode.
If I use the Voice Command and the command is not understood or if I'm silent, at the end of the "listening" period of VC the volume icon on top becomes as in the normal mode (On) but the two volumes stay at the minimum level which actually is the vibrate mode.
As a consequence , if I receive a call there is no vibration nor sounds and is really annoying :x
Anyone had this problem?

Yes, same issue here.
When phone is in vibrating mode VC isn't working (doesn't matter if I use a headset or not). And sometimes the vibrating mode is switched off and the sound mode is turned on but volume level 0.
I've learned to change to non-silent mode before using VC.
I'm using the lates QTEK ROM in german and had the same issue with the T-Mobile ROM before.

Voice Command on Mute

I use the feature in Voice Command to announce incomming callers so I know who is calling me without looking at my phone. I have set my ringers to none, so all I hear is the name of the person who is calling. However, for some reason, Voice Command seems to ignore the system volume, and still works when I have the phone set to mute.
Does anyone know of away to force Voice Command to adhere to the system volume so my phone does not go off in class or when i am at work. It doesn't happen all the time, but I know when pressing the voice command button even when the phone is mutted, it will unmute the phone and still sound the beep and confirm your commands, then put the phone back on mute. It might be a bug that exists because of this feature, but if there is anyway i can disable it, that would be great! I don't mind having to turn my volume up when using voice command to here the command confirmations, becase having the incomming callers not going off randomly is more important.
Thanks!!!
This is what I do
Go to settings, then click on Voice Command Settings. Highlight the word 'Phone', then press options. Uncheck the box that says 'announce incoming calls'. As far as I know, this is the only way to make the voice silent when a call is recieved.
Thanks....I was hoping there was a way to do this without having to change the settings everytime I have class, but I guess not. I think its just a bug anyway because it only happens sometimes. Guess I'll have to go back to good ol' ringtones....
How do you turn the ringer off, by turning the volume all the way down with the volume slider? By clicking the speaker and then clicking off?
I hold the comm button until it goes into vibrate mode then I use the volume slider to go down to off and VC has never announced the calls when the ringer is off.

Is it normal that Voice Command 1.5 changes phone speaker mode by itself?

Hi,
I'm using VC 1.5 on my PPC WM5. At any time I press voice command button it will turn my phone speaker ON even though I set it to mute or vibrate. In case of vibrate mode, after the speaker icon is shown as ON (supposed to be vibrate) all reminders, incoming calls or notification will not vibrate my PPC at all (it did turn on my PPC from sleep and show notification but doesn't vibrate).
If I don't activate VC (don't press button), it's fine, speaker mode work reliably as normal. But if I accidentally bump the button, then it will cause this issue.
Has anyone experienced this before? What is the solution I could workaround? or it just does what it suppose to be?
Thanks,

i9000 vibration mode still ring !!!

Anyone got the same problem? when I set my i9000 to vibration or even silent mode, it still ring when someone call in?
Any suggestion? it is really a problem for me
How about, uh, dropping ringer volume to zero?
Just tested it. When set to vibrate my phone vibrates, on Silent it just displays the incoming call onscreen.
is it possible that some app I installed cash with the vibration mode function?

[Q] Ringtone Problem and Changing Profiles

Long time now I am having a problem with Ringtone "Muffling" while phone rings after 1-3 seconds...
It goes like .AMR sounds...
Ringtone clarity enhancement hotfix does not working for new roms.
I heard about disabling HTCvolume.
But then you can't have a good control of HTC volume...
Questions:
-> Is there any program that works the same as Volume Control
with the same Keys and options for making the HTC volume disable works?
Is there another way of fix that?
-> I go when the Sound Profile is in "Vibration" mode
and change it to "Normal" mode (full volume up).
SOMETIMES
When I end a call that started in Normal mode,
it goes by itself to Vibration mode...
And when I recieve an SMS Message, it goes to Vibration mode again.
I switch it everytime but, with new message, goes to Vibration again.
It stops when i Restart the phone only...
(what the heck, this phone has many problems... )
sounds like its realy muffed up. is it still within warrenty? if it is take it back

How to adjust sound profiles?

Ok so i generally turn off vibrations when it comes to my phone ringing / getting notifications! If my phone is going to alert me using sound then i don't need it to vibrate so i go ahead and turn it off! If however iam not wanting to be disturbed then i usually toggle "vibrate mode" which essentially makes the phone silent but will vibrate .......... or at least thats how it has worked on every phone i have ever owned ....... until now?
It seems that once i turn off vibrate in within sound mode then even if i toggle 'vibrate' .... there is no vibration!
Hope im explaining myself properly and you guys get what i mean! Any ideas? I basically just want my phone to NOT vibrate in normal use but to vibrate in silent mode?
Anyone? Its bugging me that i cant adjust the individual sound modes! I do not want my 'normal' sound mode to use vibrate so i turn vibrate off but this also turns it off for vibrate mode so when i enable vibrate mode its basically silent with no vibrate! Anyway to get vibrate mode to actually vibrate without vibrate being enabled for normal mode aswell
I guess nobody knows ? lol
