hi,
is there any way to improve the duratin of the battery.?
Everyday i have to reacharge the battery and that is very annoying.
i phone about 20minutes a day, send about 30 text messages a day and My phone uses about 45 computing power everytime.
Thanks in advance
I use a piece of software on my HD called PhoneAlarm (although there are others), whic switches my device into different profiles depending on time of day, where I am etc.
This switches it into 'flight' mode at inght (effectively turning the phone off without the hassle of me forgetting to do it, or having to turn it back on in the morning). I'm sure you don't need your phone on at 3 in the morning for example using power?
The result is that I can get 3 days of use out of my phone.
Thanks twisted...I'm sure that program is going to be VERY useful for me. I didn't know there were programs like this either, lol.
Where exactly could I get it though? I don't want to download something wrong.
So far my batteries can give me about 2 days+ (subject to usage)
Just set lights off to 10 seconds to conserve battery. Lighting put to minimal if u can bare with it.
Install TD2 tools, it allows u to wake yr phone up without using the power button. Found it useful (not compulsory however)

I have done all the tweaks to the Imagio and when I turn the the phone on each morning it starts at 48%. But by the end of the day it could creap up to about 70%. I always close out programs after I use them and I even run htc cleanram a few times throughout the day, yet it wont go back to around 48% unless I do a soft reset. Why is it this.
I thought if you close programs out after using them, the phone wont be using any more memory for the programs.
Please advise.

It has something to do with the services that run constantly on this rom. For us to start out with 48% usage at the beginning of the day is ridiculous. You could not run a program the entire day and it still creeps up there. Although mine does not creep all the way up to 70% it gets up to about 66% but that is using Chome instead of TFlo3d. This is why everyone is making such a stink to get the Hspl going so we can get rid of this rom. I haven't had to worry about memory since my 6800 (titan) and it sucks I must worry again.
I soft reset this morning and I'm already at 76% after light use. Yikes, that's pretty bad!
using TF3d i am at 65% after a reboot, and 24 hours later, i am at 79%, with a few application installs, uninstall, emails, phone calls. AKA, normal usage.
See I'm at 64% it is 8 pm I did a soft reset last night after installing programs and started off then at about 42%. Like I say I am currently running Chome. I have run SPB hero theme, I of course ran touch flo but CHome is the least greedy.
what is chome, where do I get it.
Start->Settings->All Settings->Home->Items Then uncheck Touchflo 3d and check windows default, boom Chome.
Same Issue
I have noticed that every other day I get an Activesync 80070008 error. The only way to clear it is to power off the Imagio. In researching this it is a memory error.
I have determined that from power on and with Push email active I will lose over 20 mg in 24 hours. I can sit and watch the memory usage increase.
When I turn off the Push and synch every 5 minutes my usage stays constant.
When I was running an Elf with a 6.5 rom I did not have this problem.
My hd2 is giving me problems with the battery draining so quickly even when connected via usb and tethered...I noticed that even if i hit the end call button or use a power control app for "screen off" or "standby" within a minute or two the screen is back on.
Before anyone asks activesync is set to update every 4 hours and weather/stock etc is set for 30 minutes to an hour but I still don't think these should make the screen turn back on...I'm at the point I'm about ready to write a mortscript which will run the screen off command every 30 seconds so my phone can recharge the battery.
The same problem has occured with 2 different roms (6.5.x)....kumar's and the 05/13 elegancia rom.
Any ideas? It's worse when carrying phone because it's turning on in the holster on my belt and battery is draining like crazy.
this is something i would have liked to know before hand. is there any way to significantly increase it, say 5h ? i had to add the command line arguments to startup.txt thus disabling the power saving feature (waiting for sd card) otherwise the device would randomly freeze. also the sound volume regularly goes up and down slightly, and the speakerphone doesnt work. it feels like the power is leaking --; i m using FRX07.1 and this is my first successful installation. my previous attempts did not work because i had 6Gb of music being indexed at startup, and it felt like the xdandroid logo would never stop looping. why is it that we have to stare at a logo for minutes when we could see that indexing or loading activity whatever it is, in verbose ?

I don't think any indexing happens during the boot animation - but I could be wrong. However, the type of stuff you'd like to know wouldn't be in any kernel messages, so you wouldn't "see" it anyways.
3 hours on a full charge sounds like either a bad battery, or a phone that wasn't sleeping (at all). If you killed the battery process or have processes running in the background, have GPS on, etc - it will kill your battery, and quickly. If the device isn't sleeping properly, it'll never be able to run for more than a few hours.
ok i ll try making sure the gps is off --; i also installed the overclock widget and downclocked during sleep mode
Hi All,
I have noticed that whenever I set the sleep time (Settings -> Display -> Sleep) to anything other than the 15 seconds, after a little while, it will automatically revert back to 15 seconds. I have set it to 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes and never, but they will always automatically revert back to 15 seconds. My battery is at 85 percent and this happens even after I turn off smart power and all other power saving management programs. Are there anyone else that is experiencing this problem? Please help, thanks!
I don't have this problem. I set the sleep time to 10 minutes on the first day and now it is like it should be, set to 10 minutes
I also don't have this problem.
Hi,
I figured it out. I have the program Kinscreen installed and it was this program that was automatically changing my sleep time. I paid for the premium version which unlocked the option to change the sleep time in Kinscreen and problem solved!
