JEYO Mobile 2.5 : Wrong date after restoring SMS

Hi all,
I have a little issue with Jeyo Mobile 2.5.
I have old SMS from a WM5 ROM on my PC.
I have installed WM6, try to restore those SMS (So in jeyo extender: sms selection, then "copy to device") but all my SMS are dating from 2053 instead of 2007, so all new SMS are at the end of list.
Any ideas ?
Thx
perhaps a bug with Jeyo with wm6?
It works fine with me, using vista, wmdc 6.0 & 6.1, and various wm6 roms. The only problem is the message size of the restored sms, always 0kb.
always 0kb ? but you have text in your messages ? strange...
Mail from Jeyo support :
Hi Jerome,
It sounds like you might not be using the most recent build of the software. Try redownloading the Extender from jeyo.com and reinstalling -- if you need a new key just send us the Owner Name from your handset's Owner Information setting and we'll e-mail you one.
Sincerely,
Jeyo

Yes, the messages are fully restored, just the size isn't.
And I'm also using extender 2.5.
What a crapy soft, like you, always 0kb, not a big deal.
BUT, while copying SMS to device, the soft send ALL my old sms to contact !! almost 50 sms...thx JEYO.
I have uninstall this soft and now use SMS Backup directly from device

[Q] Saving and restoring SMS messages between builds

What applications/processes to people use to save/backup/restore SMS messages? I previously used SMS Backup (the version by Michele Valentini as there are others with the same name, and I'm currently unable to post links) but this now seems to have problems restoring (possibly due to gingerbread). Any suggestions?

SMS Backup & Restore. Download from Market. It's free and flawlessly working in Froyo and Gingerbread for me.

See what i'm using, there is no problem after update, everything is there as it was.

SMS Backup+ is VERY nice. I've used SMS Backup and Restore, as mentioned above, but SMS Backup+ offers some real nice features. It creates a folder called SMS in your gmail account and (can be set to) automatically store text messages in that folder. You can also restore back to the phone any time you want, but it does mean you've got access to them from anywhere you can access your gmail account, which I find very nice!
Obviously, you can't reply with an SMS from your gmail account, but it you leave your phone at home you can still check your texts online.

possibility to disable sms limitation????

the 1000 messages limitation in the atrix is very annoying to me as i have over 3000 sms with my girlfriend and i would like to keep them all, is this a way to disable this stupid annoying limitation???? this is the first time i came across a smartphone with this limitation... tht sucks!!!
tried different messaging apps, message number can be over 1000, but after some time it go back to 1000, very annoying!
Sent from my MB860 using XDA Premium App
no idea how to change the limit, but grab SMS backup and restore. When you get close to 1000 back them up, move the file somewhere, and clean them out.
honestly though, how many of those old messages do you really need to keep?
OP loves his girrrlfriend, ew that's gay!
jk.. I like using GO SMS. You can backup messages there and apparently you can even disable the native SMS client. I haven't done so because it's not problematic for me, but all in all it's a great SMS program and I believe you can have more than 1000 messages. If not, you can easily and safely back them up.
My only gripe was that in the past you couldn't backup user settings, but now you can. So IMO their SMS app is damn near flawless. I have hundreds, if not thousands of texts from my wife too.
Get a new GF. Problem solved
1000 SMS limitation?
I've imported my 11000 SMS (from year 2007 from Windows Mobile) and those was been accepted from Atrix.
However it seems Atrix becomes instable and very slow with that amount of SMS stored in "text Messaging" application: many times it freeze for 2 minutes and I'm unable to delete a conversation because of timeout (timeout restarts SMS application before it has finished)

Titanium Backup will not restore SMS & MMS

I have a 68MB SMS database file and it failed restoring at around 30% now when I try to restore my messages it says:
"Restoring data from XML
Messages (SMS & MMS)"
0% 0/1
It has been there for about 1 hr and only comes out when I reboot. Any ideas how to fix this?
Then when I go to my partial backup, Go SMS Pro will show the names bu the stock SMS app takes forever to load the names.
This was never resolved I ended up using SMS Backup and Restore. Just beware if you have more than 5,000 messages like I do it can take Hours / overnight. It literally took me 8 hrs to restore 70,000 messages (remember this is lines of messages so if each contact has 100 texts which is easy.... and there are thousands of contacts in your phone...)

Ok...all else aside...why would you want that many texts on your phone? 70,000 lines of anything can't possibly be "just current info" ...
Hey...its your phone, etc., you can do anything you want. ..I am just curious why you'd want all that on your phone.
