Hi,
My "old" pocket-PC with Windows mobile 2003 died yesterday.
I have only one backup with "xbackup" (no backup with active synch).
Today, i bought a new "Prophet" with Windows mobile 2005 but there not have "xbackup" installed.
Do you known how to restore my backup to my new Prophet ?
Can i download "xbackup" for Windows mobile 2005 ? where ?

and I had already search that there are no compactable software as X-backup to be work in WM5 machines.
I have the same problem. Now trying to find really working program "xbackup Extract.exe". Any news - with pleasure!
i was using a imate pda2k before getting my wizard yesterday. On my pda2k i could backup and restore my sms using smsorganizer. On the new device, can anyone tell me how i can move all my messages from my imatepda2k to my imate kjam. Would appreciate.

does any1 know how this guy makes his program send u a msg telling to the d/l the latest version when you try using the program?
ie i went to start smsorganizer today, and it doesnt start, but comes up with a pop up asking to check the website for the latest version...
how does anevemkovacs get the program to do that ?
does he have access to control the program even though i haven't been online for months...

I have try WM6 but waiting for same bugs fix I'll decide to revert back to WM2003SE of my FEELER (QTEK 8020).
I'll use I MATE SP3i image (last WWE available on IMATE FTP site).
Can someone tell me if exist a utility to manage SMS present on SIM card?
In WM2003SE I can only copy ALL SMS on phone memory and than operate on it (delete ecc..). I can't remove it directly from SIM (like WM6 image do very well, and I remeber my previous NOKIA GSM phone).

I upgraded my unbranded p3300 to wm6 and after that i tried to restore the backup i made with sprite backup 5.01.
Unfortunately this doesn't work and now it seems i lost all my messages.
Is there a way to recover those messages from the backup?
The only way i know is to downgrade to wm5 dutch original htc rom, but i dont have this one.
I hope someone can help me....

Has anyone ever managed to get the Orange Backup/Restore tool into a cab for WM5 / WM6 / WM 6.1 phones?
It was very handy on my umpteeen swaps of c500 / c550's.... and would be invaluable for rom flashing and restoring your numbers.... let alone brilliant if you are away...lose your phone... and need your numbers....
