FREE Commodore 64 Emulator wanted! (freeware, not illegal) - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 General

Been searching for a couple of days now for a free C64 emulator for the XDAII. All I can find is Comeback64 which says not compatible with the connected device. I also found a link to one called PocketHobbit, but alas the link was dead.
Any clues?

tanks very much cruisin. I am really appreciated
inmarsat - have you seen another emulator other than the ones built into evc? It would be cute. The evc one is most (or only!? )useful for developers I guess.

the key point is not evc, it's wether the emulator is a PPC one or an mobile phone one, coz they have got different OS
I think
EVC has an emulator for PPC and Smartphone, Win Mobile 2003 and Win Mobile 5 I think. Just download each of the SDKs.

ok

both from microsoft website? i only found ppc emulator with evc. anyway, il have a look at it as you suggested.
thanks 4 ur suggestion!
of course, your code needs to be compiled to run on the emulator. You can't just take normal StrongArm (ie real) PDA programs and run them on the emulator.
Hope the info helps. BTW, I think microsoft will post out free demo disks of the SDKs and visual studio if you look around on the website.

Hi.
The "emulators" inside the PPC 200x SDKs / WinCE SDKs are not really emulators.
They can be seen as swappers, because they do not emulate ARM processors.
If you need a real PocketPC / Smartphone emulator with real ARM emulation,
than try google: "device emulator", "Windows CE 5.0 Device Emulator", "device emulator 1.0"
You will find (an unofficial) emulator/ emulators, which is/was/were also developed by $Micro****$.

Is there a pocketpc version of Champ Manager / Football Man?

I really really want one! Even if its just a conversion of the origional game with the players updated it would be awsome! I mean it doesnt need a huge database or anything like that just the premier league and a few foreign players...
PLEASE!!
If you want the ORIGINAL Football Manager you could d/l a Speccy emulator?
www.kevintoms.com
http://www.worldofspectrum.org/
think the origional came out for the amiga, buit good idea. id kinda like the origional look but with updated leagues and players.
i downloaded prem manager on the sega emulator and its just not the same
I'd be really interested in this as well if anyone comes accross it. I used to have Champ Manager for Series 60 but not found it for Win Mobile as yet.
Good to see theres some interest out there in this
id love it too
did anyone find something else that's good. i've seen some but haven't tried them: football director, actual coach, etc..
is there anything that's good?
I've used football manager, its pretty good.
Football Manager? Where did you get this from ?
Eeeeeeeeeeeeek! Its actually available?
Not sure if its any good though...

The billing doesnt seem to have an MDA Vario as an option so Im not sure it it will work?
it's for standart mobile phones and symbian phones. don't think it will work on a pocket pc
Ah thats a shame
I had the mobile verison on my old symbian phone and itwas pretty good just not available for windows mobile which is a big shame as I used to play it loads until I upgraded my phone.
afaik, cm mobile is a java based game. Isnt there any pocketpc java player ?
I remember seeing someone getting it up and running via a windows 95 emulator. Can't remember where noe, but if you have the original game and the win95 emulator, then you can work it out.
http://www.pocketgamer.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3660
thats the win95 thing
Ah sweeet! You can download the origional game from www.thedugout.net
So hm will this thing enable and windows 95 program to work on the MDA? If so that sounds very very good...
That doesnt seem to work... Any more ideas?
GEEEEDDDDDDDDDIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!
Ive got Championship Manager 1994 working on my phone! Its a joy to behold lol
Reeet - Download this amiga emulator and follow the instructions on the page
http://www.theoldcomputer.com/Libarary's/Emulation/BIOS_Roms/Kickstart1.3.zip
And then download the champ manager rom and put it in the disk folder
http://snesorama.us/ROMS/?q=championship manager&s=*&start=0
Its a bit slow but still - Looks like - And was / is still one of the best games ever made!!!
EDIT : Its taken like 40 mins to load up a new game, GRRRR! I know the amiga always used to take about 20 mins to do a new game but ARGH! Hope its better when its loaded up...
Is it possible to get the PC version working instead? As it may be a bit faster I think... Any help would be appreciated

Classic Games: Yukon Trail and Oregon Trail II

I don't know if anyone remembers these games, but bas anyone heard of the classic games Yukon Trail and Oregon Trail II working on our phones???
Their so simple with a not-too-fancy GUI that should work well...
if Dosbox will run on your device (i have not looked into this, but its a open source program AFAIK so its likely someone has it running on ppc's), you should be able to play them with it.
i was playing Oregon Trail in dosbox on my desktop a few months back, funtimesfuntimes.
a quick google turned this up: http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-dosboxppc-v0-63.html (i didn't read about it, but its a start)
again, i have not tried running YT or OTII on my device, i'm just posting a few possibilities that you can follow up to TRY to get them working.

Free HP iPAQ 110 Emulator

Look what I found in recent email from HP- a free desktop emulator of the iPAQ 110. It looks pretty cool. I wonder if you could test the PXA310's features on it:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c01580180&dimid=1019718032&dicid=alr_nov08&jumpid=em_alerts/us/nov08/all/xbu/emailsubid/mrm/mcc/loc/rbu_category_HPiPAQ110Series/alerts
Tell me if it works.

Possible PLAYSTATION emulator?

i found this site by pure luck... they programmed this to run on Pocket PCs with at least windows mobile 2003. i tried to install it on my shadow (2007) and its not supported (go figure).
My question is to those of you who know or are programmers and hackers... people have gotten Doom and Duke Nuke'em to run on our little Shadows.... is it possible to hack this thing to do run on our phones?
here's the download site:
http://www.fpsece.net/download.htm
i went over to their website's forums and found that they got it to run on the touch pro...
