Best and fastest Back-up programme please

I have now so many patches and programmes on this machine, that I am getting a bit worried that if I run empty, I will loose everything.
So therefore I am looking for a simple fast back-up programme that I can run every night before I go home.
Any suggestions please?

Hi,
Maybe you can check Sprite Backup Premium (h++p://www.spritesoftware.com/products/sprite_backup.html).
I am using Sprite Backup and it works well, except for one thing. Although I have not yet verify those problems, there were reports that this software caused trouble to SMS after you restore your XDA using backup generated by Sprite. So, for SMS backup-restore, I am using SPStudio.
Cheers!
Can you pls post the link for SPStudio as well? Thanks.....

Replace battery icon by time

Hi all,
Do anyone knows how to replace the battery icon by the thime ?
Any Regietry trick ?
Thanks in advance,
ben0s
Tell us what have you tried. Eg. searched the forum, read the wiki, etc.
As we might suggest something that you have already tried and not worked.
I hate suggesting a solution and getting back answers such as "Oh yes, I've already done that, but that doesn't work. Any other solution?"

Battery Reporting in 10% incriments

i upgraded from a wizard a few days ago, and after installing batterystatus and using the default wm5 batterymonitor have noticed the hermes battery only shows in 10% levels. 100,90,80 and so forth.
is this normal on other phones, or is something majorly screwed here?
Thanks.
Normal. However, most of the current ROMs have the 1% increment fix already cooked in. If you do a search you will probably find the .dll or cab that it needs...
alright i'll take a look, but if i cant find anything someone mind posting a link?
Thanks.
foundit. nevermind. thanks.
and?

and the answer is????
please share your knowledge!... i've the same problem...
I also switched from a wiz recently, but everytime i soft reset, my phone shows full battery again. ist there a fix? thanks
Unless you are cooking a rom the "fix" is useless to you. Its the rom that is the problem. Flash Hard SPL V7 1st then change to a cooked rom from the wm06 forum.
Cheers...
I did flaash with SPL7 so i don't thats the issue,
and yes, i did install a carrier rom first.
thanks

How do i backup my original ROM?

Hi,
Im going to upgrade the ROM on my TyTn, but before I do I would like to backup the original WM5 ROM so I can put it back if something goes wrong. Can anyone tell me how to do it please?
Steve
Hey bro, Just moved your question over to the general area for hermes..
Honestly dude. there is a bunch of apps to backup your data.. do some searching for what fits you best.. when you flash a rom though it's like formatting your pc.. all your data is gone because of the new OS running.
pimbackup
SpbBackup
SpriteBackup
etc etc
thanks mate. Ive always used spb backup, just didnt realise it backed up the rom.
It doesn't... Look in the General section, you might find an app to rip the rom from your Hermes, or Josh might know how to dump it from your Hermes.
I believe he misunderstood the question.
Cheers....

Spb can only back up your installed softs or games /data in your existing Rom. It can not back up Rom!
Happy New Year!

Hello,diencaidau
Could you mind to teach me how to backup rom?
thanks!!
Backup ROM
I think SPB-Clone can do the job - but it´s very expensiv so I didn`t try it.

Can someone confirm this?
I'd also like to be able to backup my whole device, so in case something goes wrong or I want to send my phone back for repair I can backup my Swedish stock ROM, which hasn't been uploaded here yet.
Backup
Sorry, I have to correct my post above - SPB Backup is recommended for saving, SPB Clone will mainly copy!! settings on one´s device to share it to others (within an enterprise e.g. to mantain same pre-configurations) = According to a poorly translated side from SPB.
Sorry
you have for case changed in regional setting the language or specific the currency? from £ to € or other? I have the same single problem if I modify the currency
