is there a software wherein you can assign different owner/user names to different programs...

Are there any features of WM5 or software available for the Prophet which will divert/block selected numbers? Ultimately I would like to be able to create a "divert" group in which certain numbers belonging to that group would be diverted directly to my voicemail.
Any ideas?
I'm searching now, but phoneext has been the only thing I found, and I never really liked it since it took over a lot of the functions of the phone.

Works for SMS messages also. The author mentions it can't handle large contact databases. He doesn't give a specific number but it works fine with my contact list 600+ contacts. Also allows you to assign tones by contact category (my main use since this is far easier than individual tones). BTW you should realize that in your contacts edit view you can assign a ringtone to the contact along with their photo.

haha, dang, I didn't realize that was there in the per contact edit.
Thanks!
I used Photo Contacts PRO (Pocket PC Edition) by PocketX Software Inc.
Editing the contacts info seems to be bugged as far as updating phone numbers and other info. At least on my phone. However everything else on it works great. You can select a different ring tone for each contact. Also allows you to set default ringtone for users not in your contact list. Also has a better appointment interface and several other goodies. I highly recommend.
You can do this without the need for third-party apps... right from within your Contacts applet. Just edit the contact and assign a ring tone to him/her from the available drop down.
Howdy folks,
I am in Brazil and here one can select different carriers for dialing, with different rates.
The typical local number with area code is AAA NNNN-NNNN, where AAA is the area code and NNNN-NNNN is the 8-digit phone number.
The fisrt A is always "0".
When you select a carrier, the number becomes AxxAA NNNN-NNNN, where xx is the 2-digit carrier ID.
Examples: 011 9224-9445 becomes 04111 9224-9445 when using the carrier TIM, and 02111 9224-9445 when using Embratel as a carrier.
Here is the big problem.
I have an extensive phonebook (over 1,500 entries) and use my Wiza200 with 2 different SIM cards (daytime the company's, night time my personal one). It happens that each SIM is from a different operator, thus having different carrier codes with different rates.
Would there be a way of having an app that I tell it which carrier to use and then it handles the "dialing string" for me?
It is really painful to keep editing numbers each time aI have to call someone, especially when driving.
TIA,

You'll probably have to do some manual labor editing. Sync your contacts with outlook on your computer. Then make a duplicate entry for each contact, but maybe put a symbol before the last name. For example you would use "Doe, John" during the day and "!Doe, John" at night. The different entries would allow you to have different dialing strings. You could even enter different categories for the contacts then use a filter in the contacts app to only show the applicable entries. I beleive it's safe to say that your situation is very unusual so there probably is not a market for someone to make a program that handles this automatically.

Hey,
Does anyone know if it is possible, through the supplied T-Mobile 2.26 ROM or third party software, to create custom contact fields? For example, say I want to have one contact called Papa John's Pizza and inside that contact have three fields named Anytown, Springfield, and NYC each with a number. As it stands now I have to either make a seperate contact for each location or have one contact and make each location say home, work, and work2. The latter choice makes it near impossible to remember which number goes to which office. I have many contacts that have multiple numbers that do not fit neatly into the supplied fields. On my old S60 phone this was quiet a simple task but I just can't seem to figure it out on WM5. Thanks for the help.
You can use IneSoft Address Book to add custom contact fields. The extra fields will be save as Note.
To mark a phone number you can put the text inside the phone number itself. E.g.
Work: +123456789 (Springfield)
or even
Work: Springfield +123456789
where "Work:" is the field name provide by Contacts application. You can use any character that can't be dialed (e.g. not a digit, * or #). Though some letters may cause problems, e.g. 'p' may mean 'pause'... I write my comments in Russian and therefore has no such problems
I use this solution for a long time. It is not specific to an OS or application.
And yes, IneSoft Address Book is good, not only for additional fields! This was the first application I purchased for my TyTN.

This would be really neat if Voice Commander 1.6 would recognize it, but it doesn't.
Hi all,
I don't know if this has been discussed already (couldn't find anything with the search) but I want to create contact "groups" (e.g. home, work, friends) and assign a different ringtone to the different groups...
Any idea if/how this is possible with the Touch Dual?
Cheers
