hubby bought 2020i (i swear all i wanted was a new phone!) for me. we live in spain but i'm american with good spanish skills but not good enough for this. where and how can i obtain the download that will allow me to change the language for spanish to english? i also cannot seem to connect to the internet. in reading some of the posts, i feel a bit dumb when it comes to all of this, but the purchase is made and i have to make the most of this. can you help me get started?

(don't laugh, i said i was dumb on this subject!). also, the two cds that came with the qtek (one application, the other supplements) will not install. probably best since they are in spanish. with the wwe download give me those cd contents as well?

What a deception I just recieve my Qtek s200 and it's a German version. Everything is german. Documentation, disk, ... (I could handle French, English, Spanish an Portuguese but not German.)
I don't know what is the getting started.
Is anyone can point me where i could find a pdf or any electronic manual?
As well as that the software? They are all german.
Now what can i do?
Should i send that back?
I guess i have to update my eprom?
Please make me happy of my new toy!!!
k, I am sure you can find in pdf the hole user manual (www.qtek.com) but your problem is your Qtek have a German ROM.
1.- Upgrade-Change the ROM to the lastest Dopod (be aware, you lost the waranty)
2.- Ask to the dealer why you have a german device if is possible to change the device with your local language, French or English.
Let us know what hapend.

I try to install the activesync from the disk. First it ask to install outlook (i don't use outlook but Eudora. But even if i do i get and error don't know if it is because i have and english windows and try to install and german version.
Then the same tings for activesync. Stop to install with an error.
I try to install version 4.1 (english) from microsoft web ---> Unable to finish to install.
I try to install version 4.2 (english) from microsoft web ---> Unable to finish to install.
They say that windows is a plug and play.
I feel so dump!!

I still have a German O2 xda Neo and everthing is in German. I have literally translated all the menue words so I am getting pretty good at finding my way around. But if I could find someone who has a simple solution to convert my Geman system to English I would be very grateful. email me and I will send you the manuals for free... in PDF format. Also if anyone needs the German CD's and manual, I would be glad to swap for the English version.

I want to be able to read websites in Thai from the internet explore but it doesn't work out.
So I read the qtek user manual about how to change the language. But ther is no Thai language support in the regional setting.
I try to search about how to add new languages, and then I got to know that I got to upgrade Rom.
But I don't know anything about upgrading Rom. It is not in the user's manual.
Can you help me how to do it?
But I prefer to avoid upgrading Rom, if possible. Because I heard that if i do not do it properly, my devices will corrupt completely.

Doing a hard reset, the system only offer somes deutch languages. No other language is available. I ask for some software to flash the phone, actually i dont know how this treo works, but all other cell phones is easy to change. Somebody could help me? If i cant do anything please tell me for return this item to my costumer. I can pay USD 20.00 if the software works in portuguese. Tks

its possible to get Portuguese language ROM on your phone i am assuming it is an GSM Phone if it is then if you want WM 6.5 i would recommend Mord4z's ROM link which he made a Portuguese ROM and if you want to stay in 6.1 you have 2 options
1. flash a stock Portuguese ROM link big thanks to PJonDevelopment
2. flash a newer 6.1 Portugese version made by me link

Hello! As you can see I'm a noob (like complete noob when it comes to HTC or Windows Mobile). A friend got a Touch Cruise T4242 and it has Greek Language. Is there a way to put English or Romanian (I doubt it, but English will be excellent) language?
I couldn't find related threads (just one from 2010 in which someone asked for a Spanish Rom and was adviced to search htcpedia.com for it, but I didn't manage to find anything there - or maybe I'm just dumb and don't know my way around there).
By the way, best way of greeting new members - that video is awesome ('tough i'm not really a noob in foruming).
