I was half way thru on the new upgrade on the Window mobile and half way thru my pc power trip. when the pc restarted, I cant get connect to the XDA II anymore. Worst, now the XDA II got hung after it start witha white screen. I need help.....how to get it slove ?

Hello, I have tried to update my ROM with the latest one off of the O2 website, however the screen on my XDA went black half way through and now it won't switch on, have tried a reset, removing the battery and still nothing the Update did say it had failed, Can anyone help, it is my main phone and i am really stuck.
Put the XDA into bootloader by pressing and holding power, d-pad and reset for about 3 seconds until the screen reads serial. Connect the XDA to your PC and external power via the cradle and run the update again.

i have a problem with my XDA Comet / HTC atom since yesterday. I wanted to look at the clock but the display was just white. No reaction!
I tried to restart, tried to charge and removed the battery for some minutes but nothing worked. When I turn on the mobile, there only comes a white display.
What can I do now? Maybe I still got a guaranty, but I want to rescue the data (SMS, Contacts, ...)
When I try to connect the mobile to my pc the windows mobile device center starts but gives me the information, that the device is locked and I have to authorize. Usually I enter my 4-digits-code now on the mobile - but without a working display?!?
I tried to install "MyMobiler", but this is impossible because for this i need the windows mobile device manager.
Can anybody help me? I need those data!

Hi all, I have a galaxy s and was going to install a new rom. I saved the rom to the sd card and pressed the power button to go into recovery mode, the screen went black as usual but never rebooted and the screen stayed black. I connect it to the pc and it tried to load some driver something to do with "test driver" but anyway the screen stays black and the phone does nothing. Any ideas how to fix this without sending back to Samsung. Thanks for any ideas. Wayne.
Does the phone show the samsung logo at the beggining or is it just dead black?

the same problem with me today blank screen, no vibration, no download/recovery mode, anything. The only sign of life is when I connect it to my PC, it detects a new device named SEC S5PC110 Test B/D , request a driver
You should send it back to Samsung. I'm thinking that its more than a software (ROM) problem when even download/recovery mode isn't working.
Same happened to me, try to get your phone back in restore mode with the three button trick. Amd reinstall the image again... it will work..
mine is just black does nothing except request a driver when i connect it to a pc. SEC S5PC110 TEST B/D. thats all it will do.
It is probably the deep sleep coma bug (I've had it ever since I flashed to 2.3.4).
Hold the power button down for 10 seconds and it should reboot the phone.
Remove the battery, leave the phone disconnected from the PC and get the phone in restore mode. Then when that succeedes, connect the phone to the PC.
I heard this problem in other forums when users flash a wrong rom or firmware. Only samsung can repair your device.
Try to access download mode: vole down button + home button + power button if you can access this let me know

My phone was working okish before but it kept frezzing or i would click on contacts and then it would just go back to the home screen, so i pluged it in to the laptop and followed this http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...hing+with+odin
Now i can get my phone into download mode and connect it to the laptop, i click start on Odin and then get a yellow box in first box and it also says dont turn off target but the screen on the phone goes black? if i discount the phone it come up on odin that its failed so i reconnect but still the phone screen goes blank???
And now i get is a phone picture and pc screen which i belive means its soft blocked?
I can still get to downlaod mode

Yes soft bricked. Just flash another firmware.. stock is best bet, and then move on from there.

I recently had an accident with my phone and the screen broke into a 1000 pieces but is still together in the mobile.
I am trying to recover the pictures in the internal memory of the S4, and then the insurance will give me an exchange phone.
The problem I am currently having is one that I havnt been able to find on any post on any website, The screen is broke so the touch screen doesnt work, the start button seems to not be working or does work but nothing is shown on the screen or on the LCD light to indicate its on. I am trying to plug the phone into KIES 3, But the phone is not found/recognised so dosnt appear on the screen, I try to press the start button but nothing happens to make it recognise the phone. So seems Kies is a dead end here as it dosnt pick it up, and I also know that USB debugging is not enabled, as I found out by trying to use DR FONE FOR ANDROID, I manage to get to the 2nd option screen but says the USB debugging has to be enabled to work, but without being able to see the screen I cannot enable it. Is there any programme to view the phones screen on the laptop/computer and be able to access the system and enable the USB dbug?
I am currently downloading the ANDROID SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT KIT as I read in some post, but will this resolve my problem or am I gonna hit a dead end???
I am hoping that the ROM/software of the computer hasnt broken or got corrupted as then the phone would be dead.....
Can someone please help me asap, as meanwhile I am without any phone till I am able to repair this one....
May I add that the PC dosnt recognsise it either, no new item appears in MY PC....
