Here is a freeware for POcket PC, whick automaticcaly send a sms to the caller if you missed the call.
Possibility to personnalize your text, and send once or for each call for a number.

Installation is in deutch, you can turn it into english after.
i've tried, it works fine.
Nice to know about the software but we get that feature for free here in Switzerland with either Swisscom or Sunrise.
we dont have this chance in france ! Everything have a cost here !

Something about the TmobileNL RomUpdate 1.60; I've upgraded from my french version 1.50 to this english version not bothered by the switch from the french language to the english one; It works almost flawlessly except that i lost a thing: the permanent display of missed calls and waiting voicemail message has vanished: so when someone leaves a voicemail, as the person hangs up, a bubble stating that a voicemail has been left is displayed for a very few seconds showing two buttons, one to call the voicemail, the other to erase the displayed message; After a few seconds, the message vanishes and no icon remains on the display to remind you that you have received new voicemail.
This is very annoying and very unpractical so i hope that someone has a way to tweak the Qtek in order to display back such an icon and that it stays displayed untils one has listen to the voicemail and erase the messages from the voicemail box.The same goes for the missed calls indicators.
Can someone help me out of this? is there a new romset correcting these issues? A tweak for it.

Vanishing Icons
I use all three french networks as i have subscriptions on all three.
But it dosn't come from the rom set : after hardresetting, everything is ok and the icons are back;
By the way Murcielago, could you backup your actual french QTEK2020 or XDA2 romset and send it to me so i can at least store the french romset and maybe restore the french language version of the device?

All I was interested in was if you can use GPRS with SFR ?
I'm only able to connect to GPRS then nothing happens. I don't browse, I don't resolve, I cannot do anything.

I was searching all over the net about an application to deal with SMS issues, but did not find any, then thought if it would be a good idea to develop it. I am not a programmer, so thought to share the idea with you here.
Here are my thoughts; which is developing one application to do the following:
1- Every time you receive an SMS confirmation (that your SMS was received by the other party), his phone number appears (not his name) while it is stored in your Imate. The problem is that some times you send the same message to a lot of friends (at the same time), then u start receiving SMS confirmations but you do not know who did not yet received it! Some time due to their mobile was off or out of signal. It would be nice to have a program that dispayes the Contact name instead of the mobile number when you receive the SMS from the operator!
2- Same problem!! when you divert your mobile to the Service Center (to pretend it is turned off), people calls you and find your mobile is off. But you usually receive SMS notification about those who call you in this time (I do not know what this service is called??)!
Any way, when you receive SMS from the service center, it display the mobile numbers not the Contact name! Again the idea is to develop a software to display the Contact name instead of the mobile number.
Please let me know if the idea is not clear, and I got other ideas to add up to this application or other applications.

I want to develop the following app:
I have two mobiles with Windows. One for business and one private. When somebody calls on my business phone (which I leave at home) I want to divert them to the voicemail (maybe after one ring) so they can leave a message. At the same time I want this mobile to send a SMS to my private phone with the number of the caller (caller-id?). So I can phone them back after listening to the voicemail.
Can anybody direct me in the right direction to develop this? Is it possible to develop this?
If you have VStudio with WM5 SDK, I think it won't be difficult (I think. I dont have WM5 SDK, as I'm cheapo and using evc). There is this thing call.. State and Notification Broker thing that WM5 has which check on the state of the phone and do something about it. Probably a good place to start.
a software MagiCall ..has such feature..not sure if its sms includes the callers number..but custom sms can be set when incoming call comes..

I have activate Reject call with SMS (and check send automaticly), but I can only do this when my phone is unlocked... is they a tweek, or a reg hack to change this and be able to automaticly send a repley without having to unlock the phone first?

With me everything is working properly when the phone is locked only on the screen touch a send a message and that's all

Works fine on WM6.5 & if need enhance the possible options further then Maicall is probably the answer as can handle sms replies as a whole & individually per number etc & rules can be listed in order of checking.
Far better than any of the Android options I have tried & reminds me why my daily work device is still an HD2 on WM6.5.x .

when i sendind sms with only phone number without +995 it send with no problem.
but if i send message to number +995 XXX XX XX XX is did not sends. tells me sending not possible try again.
also if someone sends me SMS and i try to answer back same problem.
what should be a problem?

Turn off dialing assist in call settings.
done but still have same.problem.
just insert.another.sim.card.it.works.great but it has problem on my sim.

I believe I have found a solution to this problem.
the solution is to utilize the Assisted dialing feature, with some modifications (phone dialer>settings button>call settings>assisted dialing [tap to edit]). When I chose the country for the assisted dialing, it correctly selected my country code as 994. However, in order to make my texts work I had to manually add in the "+" sign. now the phone recognizes the "+994" that is in all of the contacts and inbound phone numbers. texts now seem to works as they should. Also, be sure to turn the assisted dialing on.
Hope this helps all of the other travelers out there.

i removed City/Area Code value and now its working fine. SMS and CALLs working fine.
