I have created this topic to list all the problems of the rom 1.60a so that to be improved. I have installed the rom and I have found these problems:
- Decompressing the files of Tom Tom 5 on the XDAII keeps on not working. The file TTN5.EXE is not performed
- It is not possible to modify the dimension of the memory "storage" and "programs."

what to do with a cab file
can anyone tell me how to use/install this cab file and where , i presume these are the settings i am looking for in a pot above, but i can't get this file to work. thanks
Use activesync to copy cab to XDAII then from the XDAII use file explorer and click the file to run it.
Hey guys, i've loaded the jamin rom onto my 818pro and my phone doesn't hang and is alot faster now. But i have a prob, i need the autoconfig cab file found in the ext rom coz i need to set up for my mms settings as i frequently use MMS. Can somone help me extract the autoconfig cab file from their dopod 818pro ext rom and post it on the thread plz? Will be very grateful to you guys. Thanx!
Hi, you need not run the autoconfig - just run the necessary extrom files from dopod for your telco - eg for Singtel - run the 2 singtel cab files. However, you must run them before the extrom files of Jamin. Even if you perform the autoconfig after the Jamin extrom, the telco config will not be set right.
So the steps are: after your hard reset, skip the extrom update. run the cab for your asia telco, then run cabs from Jamin extrom. It works for me everytime as I have done it on my dopod for both roms - Qtek-S200 and now Jamin.

My XDA Atom always goto Update Utility mode when battery attached, rom update OK but can not solve pb!!! Can not reset it too!
Who can help me out of this pb??

I had this problem for a while. I know you said that the update seemed to work ok, but I had the problem because the update did not work ok. It wasn't until I managed to find a PC that would complete the ROM update that the Atom was no longer in update utility mode.
Seem no ones met thà problem yet? I was try with mtty1[1][1].42 for change some data, but alway get error: usb tranfer fail! Also try with self test, result: ram test fail, eeprom write fail!!!
Have any body have a solution??

Yeah...buy the CD, insert the CD in the drive, install the software, soft reset the device and start TomTom via the shortcut that is created during the installation

you will only be able to run tomtom 5.21 on WM2005 (unless it will "work" but no bluetooth connection on com6/7 possible) use the .cab installation files...
gps.cab / PIMAddIn.cab / ttn.cab / wzd.cab

1. Extract files in a folder
2. Run setup.exe
3. Do not close set up
4. Go back to the folder installation and get .cab files

The main problem i faced was that i was using active sync to copy the cabs over ... use a cardreader and its cool ...
i have an imate kjam and i downloaded the operator settings cab file to my computer, would that work on the htc tytn11, i mean, if i copy and pasted that cab file for imate kjam onto the tytn would the gprs work? thanks for the reply. since they are both windows mobile devices---this is why i thought it might work.
