TomTom 3 & XDA II - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 General

Does anyone have TomTom 3 working perfectly on their XDA II. By this I mean none/hardly any freezes/lockups including when receiving phone calls. Can you also detail your specifications - what version (3.xx), Make & Size of SD card, GPS Receiver (make, wired/bt) etc.
I'm trying to decide whether to buy version 5 or get v3 from my cousin.
ta

My device is Qteck 2020 ROM 1.72.04ITA - Radio ver 1.14.00 and tomtom 3 works fine. No freezes/lockups also when receiving phone calls.

What SD card are you using and gps receiver? Is it fast/slow?

Have a good read as to the issues with the keyboard with respect to vs5, - I loaded up vs 5 and it all works, I just hate the interface - so I put vs3 back on, it all works but the bluetooth headset will not connect - I aim to go with wired gps when it gets here and bluetooth headset, the XDAIIs has performed well with either vs loaded with no unexpected crashes etc. the only major niggle is the no sound when answering a call - another well known fault that is nothing to do with tomtom - mike

MobileNavigon|5 - my fighting, help needed

I've bought your software MobileNavigon|5 ( This is not cracked version !!!!) . I've installed it on my Pocket PC MDA Compact ( ROM 1.11). I'm using it with BT Rikaline 6031-x7.
Here is a list with all issues / problems I've found in your software:
1. To designate and show the route from i.e. Katowice to Budapest, MN5 needs 117 seconds !!!!!
2. It is impossible to navigate using MN5 because it shows you information from the past. For example, I've stopped my car on crossroad and MN5 software showed me, that I drive my car with 37 km/h !!!!!. This is obviously readout from the past - like 10 seconds old or something.
3. When GPS is started, than MN5 works extremaly slowly and every operation - like pressing button or refreshing the screen - takes about 30 seconds !!!!!!
4. When Pocket PC switches off, you software looses BT/GPS connection. It is required to re-start software again to get it communicate with GPS back.
5. When MN5 starts my bt gps device ( RIKALINE 6031-X7 connected via BT), my Pocket PC cannot perform any other operation. I cannot make or pick up the phone call, cannot start pocket outlook, IE or any other software.
Any idea ?

Darek
Is there anybody who can help me ?
I tried also with Socket BT GPS, result is the same.
I found Navigon5 forum, but I don't speak german at all

Desperate
Go to www.navigon.com, check international
go to service desk
pick the telephone number of your choice and you will get english speaking people who can help you out
A wired gps instead of bluetooth tends to fix these kind of problems, bluetooth is a great idea but I now always use wired gps for navigation because of the inherent problems with bluetooth.
but this BT GPS works perfectly with TT,Destinator and other navigation software except this f... navigon5.
I tested it with all GPS software ( VisualGPS, GPSTweak, WinFast Navigator) and everything is OK.
I found file spgps.ini file with settings

Is there anybody who knows what does it mean? Maybe by changing those lines it possible to start this **** working...
I sent them a lot of emails and still no answer... Their support works like their software

Orange M3000+ Parrot 3100+ TTN5.21

Not an install issue and I used search.
I am using ttn5.21 on my m3000(rom2.181.3NLD) BT is an adapt GPS receiver. When I navigate everything works fine.
When i receive or make a phone call over the parrot 3100. TTN5.1 lags. I am like 500 meters behind un my current realtime position.
I also installed the VjVobulis. With AG open, for ttn instructions over the speaker, the position on the map is constantly of.
I overclocked my m3000. No difference. I heard about different BT stacks, just don't have a clue how it works or makes a different.
Anyone has an idea what could be the solution.
Is this a hardware thing, sw, connection.
I have no clue. TTN5.21 is installed on my storage card. But since it works fine with parrot not active I don't think this is the issue.
Hope my english makes any sence.
No one?

help - xdaII mini in-call problems

hi, my name is warren and i'm from australia, and i require some help with my o2 xda ii mini
i have been playing around with bluetooth stacks and programs to get my bluetooth gps reciever to talk with my xdaII mini, and have come intio a new problem that has only seemed to come about recently
so.. the phone works fine
except.. when i am in-call, if i turn the pda on (eg to make a note or check the call timer) then the phone stops working. i can still hear the other person, but they can't hear me. i assume the microphone stops working or something? if i call them back immediately it works fine again, its just if i turn it on in-call!
i installed a bleutooth stack on here but i cant uninstall it to see if that fixes the problem
HELP!
thanks,
Warren
Which BT stack did you install? Most GPS receivers work flowlessly. In most cases the only thing to install is a patch called BTComPort.cab.
yeah unfortunately i realise that now!
i did install the above "BTcomport" patch but i also installed this stack: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=249219
nto sure what to do. i tried uninstalling it but it says files are in use. i tried deleting all the required files, but cannot delete 2 of them which are apparently in use

bluetooth car kit

hi.. i hve a skoda, octavia 2, it has factory installed bluetooth car kit, i can easily connect my Herms , but it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting every few minutes, I tried to upgared to WM6 and its same, I cange my bluetooth control unit at Skoda , and its same. the car kit works fine on any other phones like Nokia or SE. the problem is only with HTC devices. any idea ?
not a single reply !!!
This is a common problem with the TyTn, there are plenty of other threads here with exactly the same problem. I have a Parrot C3000 Evolution car kit and am using a LVSW WM6 ROM (see sig) which works most of the time (better than other ROMs in my experience) - although I experience the following all the time;
Bluetooth turns itself off (on the TyTn)
Bluetooth is on, but the phone won't connect to the car kit
Connection to the car kit gets lost after making a call
Connection to the car kit gets lost when dialling a number
In most cases going to connection manager and turning bluetooth off then on usually works, sometimes (rarely) I have to soft reset the phone and once in a while I have to soft reset the phone and the car(!). When it does all connect it works very well, I also use MS Voice Command and with the various fixes applied I get announcements, voice dialing etc. all working perfectly.
My problems with bluetooth are limited to the car kit though, I also have a TomTom bluetooth GPS dongle which works perfect all the time.
thanks forza
thanks a lot, at least I don't feel lonley with my problem.
i found this, which works great with my car kit.
www.jetwaremobile.com it costs, but there is a 30 day trial to see if it will work with your car kit.

I have found that my 3200LS Color works great as long as I have unlocked my phone BEFORE turning ignition on. Have you updated your Parot firmware to latest version?

Bluetooth problem on hw6915

Firstly, I love this phone, it almost does exactly what I want, Ok Windows Mobile 6.x would be good but I can without that, what I can't live with is the Bluetooth problem I have.
My device will not connect to the integrated bluetooth within my Skoda Octavia - it pairs up OK, but won't transfer the phonebook, and then after 5-10mins the connection is dropped! While it's connect it'll receive calls OK. The BT in the car is identified as SKODA_UHV, which I understand is the same of other VAG (Volkswagen Audi Group) cars, albeit with a different name.
It's been back to HP three times, the last time it came back with different BT version software installed, but that hasn't helped.
The car works fine with my old Nokia phone (and the HTC S710), the BT kit installed is the latest Skoda version....
Beer tokens await anyone who can provide a fix.....
do you see "hand free" on this connection? more things iI can think of is that lots of problems are due to lack of memory (device not card) pleas look at other thread on this issue it dose happen with new users ,one more thing is that you can set the connection to be not scure go over the settings
Yes the icon appears - everything is fine and works well for around 10mins, the the connection is broken.
The same happens if the unit is cold booted (thus ensuring maximum memory) and regardless of the security settings.
look for "ms-bt-stock" on xda ,you can also use google like "xda ms-bt..." see if one f the cabs will do the trick but from that day on you will not have your current bt screen (you can uninstall orHR) backup your device before installing so you can hr and restore ,good luck
