ACCESSING MY WORK SERVER THROUGH GPRS, VPN & TSC

HELP !
I used to access my work server with my XDA2 - Connect GPRS, VPN, Terninal Services hey presto. With my Qtek 9090 (WM2003 Second Edition Version 4.21.1088 (Build 14132)), I set up the connections and it will connect ONCE only to my server. If I try again it times out. I have tried with other Qtek 9090's and exactly the same thing happens - connects first time and then won't ever again. Anyone had a similar experience or even better anyone got an answer?
Terminal Services Client
Found a solution to my problem (post 13th March 2005) regarding only being able to connect once to work server through VPN and TSC. It seems there's a bug in WM 2003 which prevents subsequent connections. Anyway, the fix is here if anyone is interested. Whilst it says it's for HP only it worked on my Qtek 9090 and all is OK.

Using XDA Exec for mail server

Hi,
I was just wondering whether it would be feasible to use my XDA Exec as a server, or even "just" as a mail server? Does anyone know whether O2 blocks Port 25 as standard? If so, can it be unblocked?
It would make life so much simpler if I could run a mail server from my XDA Exec... Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
SQirl
G0 on then you got me, im fascinated!
as far as i know there is no port blocking on o2 network but , it could be diffucult to forward packets from external ip to your local ip. On o2 you dont get unique wan ip when you connect to gprs but use one of the o2 servers.

Mda Vario II using opera over wifi

Hi there,
I've been trying to use opera on my MDA Vario over my wifi yet as far as I can gather you need to create a new connection under connections (since I have to authenticate to an ISA server).
Yet I can't get it to connect, I can connect to the internet through IE (im actually typing this on my phone on IE ) yet opera doesn't seem to work. Is there any way to get it to work
Im on wm6 and im using opera mobile (i don't really want to use opera mini since it always asks me to connect due to a security certificate issue) and im connecting through an ISA server which I am unable to change the settings on since its a phone problem since it works for IE
oh and a small low priority question how do I stream through wifi since streaming media always fails to connect
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance
Anti
