I ring in voice mode.
When I used TAPI, CONNECT notification detected only after remote answer.
Now I use RIL.
CONNECT notification detecting after ring before remote answer.
I think I must catch other notification or check linestate...
Anybody know what I must do?
thnks for any information....
problem solved.
But I have other question...When I try to ring to my device, remoute side catch DISCONNECT notification after I detect RING on line.
(calltype is DATA, if calltype is VOICE all ok)
thnks for any ideas
Hmmm very strange...
On remote side catch DISCONNECT with *lpData==RIL_DISCINIT_REMOTE
But I don't know about it. I continue to detect RING on line.
Some people interesing, how I solved problem with CONNECT notification in VOICE mode
It's easy
Just, you must control Line State after Dialing (use RIL_GetLineStatus).
When you'll detect RIL_LINESTAT_CALLINPROGRESS, then remoute side answered.
did u manage to establish a data call with RIL ?? What functions did u use to do so ?? cheers for ur help man

One confusing problem that i want to solve: When i am connected to the Internet via the "Wireless Modem" application, then i can't receive any incoming call even it is no data transfer over the air(GPRS). Every phone is available for receiving this calls when it is no data transfer active. But my Himalaya not. The other side is ringing to me but i can't see anything. No missed call no incall..nothing. I can lose lot of important calls when i use Internet(WModem) at same time. The problem is the same also for SMS's. Is it some solution of this problem? Or is it somewhere over the net any application that can toggle the call forward to any other phone? I will be greatful for any suggestion. Thanx.
Hi,
Somebody please help me.
Iam not able to recieve any files from anyone using bluetooth. On the senders screen, it discovers my phone but if you send something, it says sending failed. Does this have anything to do with beam option? sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt? Any resolutions..? I have my bluetooth on and on discoverable mode, i have unchecked the pass key option. Please help..
thanks/..

did you enable incomin connection?
IT is all about "Beams". You must be set up to receive Incoming Beams. I know it is confusing as we all assume that is related to InfraRed Beams, but "NO", it applies to Bluetooth as well.
But be warned, with Incoming Beams ticked, it can drain your battery, so I only switch it on when I need to receive a file.
I wanted to try out noviiremote. I know most people dont get good range, but i thought i would try it anyway.
I installed it and set up the code base. As soon as i tried pressing a control(any control) an error message pops up telling me that the infra red port is in use by another program.i dont know what program that could be. I have incoming beams disabled. I have tried softresetting the phone and all that is running is active sync(which is setup to only sync to computers with the usb port). Whats wrong and how can i get this working?
ps i have the 8525
Hi m8...
Settings->Connections->Beam and check "Reveive all incoming beams"...
Is it working?
it is workign now. Thanks.
Sorry for my bad english.
After searching the forum and other websites for a few day's i dare to write a posting.
I'm trying to use a german XDA Neo as an analog modem for incoming calls to my (Windows) notebook.
I managed to use the "Standard Modem over Bluetooth" and the "HTC USB Modem" to establish outgoing connections from the notebook and there is no problem with reciving incoming modem calls with the build in notebookmodem.
However, when i try to recive incoming modemcalls with the "HTC USB Modem" the Phone rings on and on and nothing happens. (Any Radio-version)
When i try it with the "Standard modem over Bluetooth" the phone rings twice befor it's answerd. Unfortunatly the call will not be transfert to the notebook. Instead the phoneapplication will be started on the pda just as if i had picked up a normal voicecall (Radio-version 2.47.21 and 2.61.21) - or the Phone will ring twise and then drop the call (Radio-version 2.19.21, 2.20.21, 2.30.21 and 2.69.21)
It seems to me that setting up the notebook to recive incoming calls on the nluetoothmodem manages to answer the incoming calls but after that the PDA handels the call as a usual voicecall - not forwarding it to the notebook.
Is it possible to recive incoming modemcalls somehow?
Is there a way to create the missing function?
Is it possible to realize what i want using WM6 or do i have to wait for OpenMoko?
Thanks in advance and apologies if there is a solution written somewhere else and i just couldn't find it.

hi,
i have a very very annoying problem with my bluetooth connection...
its an htc tytn with windows mobile 6
> but i think its a windows problem
ok back to the problem:
i send with my pc (over bluetooth) a file to my ppc via the bluetooth object push service.
the ppc accepts the connection and a small notification on the bottom screen appears, which allows me to interupt the transmission...( of course i dont do that ^^)
ok... in the end when the transmission is complete the small window disappears, and.... nothing happens
> normally you have to say i want to save the file, right?? i dont get this window and i cant find the file on my pda...
please help me... that problem is so annoying i could throw the whole thing .........^^
actual i am using the program moblue to "solve" the problem.. but i want to solve this problem without new programs only with windows mobile.. should be possible, shouldnt it?
