Since a few days i have the problem that if i connect my mda compact with my pc via usb there is only a guest connection in active sync. Therefore contacts and so on aren`t synchronous with my outlook.
Can somebody help me?
Also i sometimes have the problem that if i disconnect the standard earphones from the mdac the sound turns off and i only can reactivate by plug in the earphones a few times.

I've flashed my device with WM2005 yesterdag, and I love it. I don't have any problems yet with unmapped buttons, USB Activesync etc.
But I do have some problems with Bluetooth Activesync. It doesn't work whatever I do.
I've installed ActiveSync 4.0 latest build, and USB sync'n works fine.
I've deleted the partership, and paired the device with my Sitecom Bluetooth USB adapter.
My WM2005 tells me that I've 3 available services (Headset, Serial Port and Dailup Networking). I've selected all of them except Headset. Than I started Activesync on my device and selected Connect via Bluetooth; After that I'm told there are no bluetooth partnerships with a PC that supports Activesync. And I'm asked to set up a partnership.
I did again, deleted the complete partnership on both pc and device; recreated the partnership and tried again. Same problem. After that I manually created incomming and outgoing comports which resulted in the same problems.
The strange thing is, that I see the comport service shortly in my Bluetooth Places but than disappears.
Can someone help me to get Activesync via Bluetooth working?
I have set up a bluetooth sync on my VARIO on Comm Port 4 so i can synchronize using Active Syc 4.1.
Whenever i decide i want to use my USB cable instead of bluetooth so that i can charge the device at the same time it removes my COM4 port from Activesync so that when i next try to connect by bluetooth it wont work.
How do i fix this problem????
Also where do i download LOKIWIZ and is it worth using and if i have problems with it will a Hard Boot remove it???
I just realized that I cannot sinchronize my emails/contacts, etc via Wi-fi. I can only do it by USB cable, Bluetooth and Irda and GPRS. What about Wi-Fi connection!!!. I use Exchange Server.

I think wifi sync is gone from WM 5.0. BTW, how do you get BT sync to work? I've been trying to do it with no luck on my Vaio notebook.

When you are inside your Tytn Acive Sync just press the menu and choose BT.

Hope someone can help, this is driving me mad...I am having problems syncing my phone after i've used it for a while. I am forced to reset the device before my pc recognises it again and it starts to sync. Ive never had this problem before and could really do without having to do a hard reset.
I've tried disabling the advaced network fucntion but if I do then the phone hangs if I make a call FOLLOWING a sync.

If you use a cable to synchronise it should work as blue tooth is tempramental.
If it does not work with the cable I would take the phone back to the supplier.

Ever since I installed Vista I have rpoblems with anything USB related- often devices are not ideantified (synching my M700 in particular).
Only rebooting the PC helps.

I have the same problem with my SPV. I'm tired already of hard reset. I understand that the problem with activsync is in the PPC not in the PC.
Up until yesterday I could synchronize my HTC Touch HD with my PC using activesync and USB cable. I have since not been able to achieve the connection. another HTC phone that I have does sync fine using same cable and computer. I have reset both the PC and the Phone to no avail. I can sincronize fine over the GPRS and bluetooth conection and can get my e mail etc. However cannot down/up load files thorugh the USB connection since it does not kick in the computers active sync.
Anyone has an idea to solve this issue.
