Is it normal for the GPRS symbol to appear in the top taskbar when the XDA2 is in the cradle?
Is this using any GPRS traffic?
Also, can anyone recommend a good (preferably cheap/free) GPRS counter for the XDA2?
TIA!
sure it's ok. (if you allow your ppc to use the net connection through docking station via active sync.
why should the ppc use the slow gprs connection if the fast line of your pc is available as well.
your second question: spb grps monitor is your friend

Can anyone help on connection via dialup through RAS on XDA2i phone. Does this needs any additional software or can we do using connection settings. If anyone has done already please post the configuration steps.
Dialup
Looks like no one tried dialup to their service provider for internet using xda 2i. Does any one know how to do that dialup connection from xda?, please let me know.
Thanks
I've used the Registry Hack in order to have the GPRS connection always ON...whic is great on daily time.
However now, at home, while I want to use the WIFI connection, I've the feeling that WM5 is using the GPRS connection and not the WIFI one...as both of them are active, and when I start IE as exemple,...the system try to conenct againto GPRS.
How to define priorities between both? How to controk which connection s used?
Finally...I cannot really obtein the Disconnect from GPRS Button. I Have an Orange M3000 on WM5.
Thanks for your support
