Hi, im having a slight problem transfering files from a IPAQ 1940 to a XDA2. I can do it from the XDA2 to the IPAQ (selecting beam file, it browsers the area and picks up the ipaq and then sends fine).
But if i try to do the reverse the ipaq doesn't find anything to connect to when i select beam file (although if you go into the bluetooth menu and search it does find the xda2).
Anyone else come across this and know how to fix this?
Code:
XDA2
ROM version: 1.03.00 USA
ROM Date: 09/24/03
Radio version: 1.05.12
Protocol version: 1337.12
PocketPC: 4.20.1081 (build 13100)
IPAQ
PocketPC: 4.20.1081 (build 13100)
cheers
Matt
Did you set on XDA II to be discoverable?
If not, go to BT setting and set Discoverable option.

I have a problem with my mda compact.
I bought a gps receiver from Aktonix (is the same as ADAPT Bluetooth GPS Receiver). I also have tomtom 5 instaled on my pda. But the bluetooth receiver wont work together. I can not use the bluetooth manager to change the com port. It is on com5 but I read that it has to be on com8 to let it work.
My mda has got this info:
rom: 1.01.00 WWE
date: 10/21/04
radio: 1.00.10
protocol: 1337.36
Whats the best thing to do (wich rom do i have to put on it) can someon please advise me.
I use port 5 it works like a charme! never heard you have to use port 8! use port 5 then your ok..
I have now update the rom to:
rom: 1.12.00 WWE
date: 05/28/05
radio: 1.12.00
protocol: 1337.42
ExtRom version: 1.12.119 WWE
When I go to bluetooth.
I see Mode --> devices --> Com ports
When I add my bluetooth gps receiver, it automaticly say its on com5.
But when i go to Com ports i see:
New Outgoing port
new Incoming Port
When i pres outgoing port I see my bt gps receiver.
I press NEXT, and I see
Port: But I cannot choose any port at all.

Do u resolve the problem ? I have the same problem.
Hope someone can help me with this.
I am helping my friend to get his i-mate jamin to connect to a wireless router. This router was provided by Telstra in Australia and its on cable.
The router have a 128bit WEP key which requires me to put in 26 characters, but the wi-fi of the jamin only allows me to put in max 19 characters.
I am very new to all this and I hope someone can help me with this problem.
Unfortunately, I already tried to change the WEP key for the router to 64bit but it won't let me.
The router is a Motorola SURFboard SBG900.
The i-mate jamin device information:
ROM version: 2.13.9.23 WWE
ROM date: 2/23/06
Radio version: 1_02.20.21
Protocol: 4.1.13.9
ExtROM version: 2.13.9.122
Is there anywhere that I can get a new driver for the SDIO WLAN Wireless Adapter so that I can upgrade it and make it accept 128bit WEP?
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks so much.
hm...

does anyone have the Australian XDAIIi rom?
looking for the following
ROM version: 1:11.00 WWE
Radio Version:1.00.00 (but a newer version would be fine)
Protocol version: 1337.39
ExtROM version: 1:11.923 WWE
i tried backing it up from my XDAIIi myself but no luck
hoping someone else has it done already
only this version i've found so far works with my GPS and BT hand free at the same time on the XDAIIi. i wanna install it onto my other XDAII since i run 2003se on that the BT stack is all screwy for hands free profiles... hoping maybe running the same rom from the XDAIIi on the XDAII will allow be to use my BT hands free and GPS at the same time too.
checkout here.... special thanks goes to pug!

Hi all,
I have O2 Blue tooth headset "clip" model. I am trying to pair the same with my Dopod 838 handset. I have the following ROM on my 838.
ROM version: 2.21.13.1 WWE
ROM date: 03/09/06
Radio Version: 02.19.11
Protocol Version: 4.1.13.09
ExtROM version: 2.21.13.102
When i ask for adding new partnership, the handset identifies O2 and then asks for PIN, when i enter "0000", it goes into a big loop and in the meantime, the bluetooth headset comes out of the pairing mode...
Can anyone suggest, how can i use O2 headset (bluetooth, clip model) with Dopod 838?
My bluetooth O2 model is here:

Any help is appreciated...
