WME2003 and Button Lockout - MDA, XDA, 1010 Software Upgrading

I just upgraded my HTC9500 on T-Mobile, to a cooked 4.00.16 ENG, and there is one thing that is missing that I really need. The button lockout is gone. Is there any way to enable the button lockout or a third party software that will have the same effect?
Thanks

It's fixed in later versions of the ROM.

screen rotate

hi guys.
I successfully BigStoraged my xdaII mini, but noticed that since then I am unable to set "rotate screen" as one of my hardware buttons!
Before the rom flash, I used Power Buttons app to set the voice record button to rotate my screen, but now it doesn't appear in the list of options.
does anyone know why?
many thanks...
Can't tell you what the problem is, but I'm using a big-storaged ROM and do not have this problem.
So this might not have to do with the BigStorage fix.
What ROM are you using?

Problem using software keyboard

The keys on my Cingular 8125 have started to go out, so I am forced to use the screen tapping method instead. Since the standard WM keyboard has tiny keys, it doesn't really work too good and I downloaded some 3rd party keyboards instead.
I have the Molski AKU3.3 firmware installed just in case it makes a difference, but when I try to switch to the new keyboard it doesn't let me. I go to Setting > Input and select the new keyboard from the drop down, but it just goes back to the standard WM keyboard every time.
Anyone know how to fix this little glitch?
Anyone have an idea on how to fix this issue?

HTC Tilt2 (Touch Pro2) Reassigning the Push to Talk Button

Does anyone know which registry key I would need to modify (and to what value) to reassign the PTT button on my Tilt 2 so that I can make it launch the camera instead of the PTT software? I have no use for this software nor would I want to pay for it but having it launch the camera is much more useful to me. I was able to do this with the AT&T software setting but now that I've flashed to The Cell ROM AT&T V2 that option is no longer there. I love the ROM. It's far superior to the stock AT&T one but I am missing that one little thing.
I have AE Button Plus but it's using too much of my CPU so I'd rather find another way that doesn't involve installing another program.
With the Tilt2, remapping the PTT button is thankfully easy:
Settings -> Personal -> Buttons
Just chose whatever you want.

Removing the "Slide down for more options" screen

After having tried many w6.5 roms, I've decided to go back to the stock 6.1 ROM, which suits 99% of my needs.
I can live with the limitations on this version, but there is ONE things that REALLY annoys me which is the stoopid "Slide down for more options" screen while on a call, which gives you access to the speakerphone, mute, calendar, etc buttons.
Is there any way to disable that screen (thus providing direct access to all the buttons / functions without having to slide it down) on the stock 6.1 rom? Any registry settings?
Thanks for your help
cheers
found other threads on this but no real answers...other than installing a Rodhium dialer, which I dont want to.

Unfortunately, changing the dialer or at least adding a different one is your only option.
Hello, I too have gone from 6.5 to stock 6.1 rom i found 6.5 was a bit slowwer for what i wanted.
I use Touch InCall Screen Tweak Config ( a cab program i found on here) it does not elimatinate the curtain but when on a call it turns off the screens when its near your ear and when u take it away from your ear while in a cal it brings up the screen with out the curtain for a few seconds so u have access to it. After about 4 seconds the curtian comes back, i found it ample time to play around with the call buttons.
I hope this helps

Shortcut keys stopped working

In the last two weeks, the shortcut keys stopped working in my phone. When the phone is locked and I press twice the Volume-down key, the camera should launch - but it doesn't. The same with Volume-up.
Turning the shortcut keys off-and-on in the settings doesn't help. The only thing that helps for a while is the phone restart. For some time after phone restart, the shortcut keys work, but when I actually need to use them, they don't.
Does anyone know how to fix the shortcut keys?
My guess is that this problem is related either with the last firmware update (Android 8.0.0, sw version V20c-EUR-XX, build OPR1.170623.032, Android security patch level 2018-08-01), or with the AppLock program that I've installed lately. Though the latest firmware was described as a fix for Google services, it noticeably changed many more things than just the Google services, process management in particular. And this shortcut-keys problem may be another consequence of the patch.
