I have an unlocked UK O2 XDA that I want to upgrade and I have a couple of questions:
1. If I do an upgrade, will the phone still be unlocked or will I have to re-unlock it ?
2. I only have a USB sync cable and no cradle. Will the upgrade work only with the cable and not the cradle ?.

Yes it will still be unlocked.
Yes you can do it just with a serial cable (it just takes longer than with USB)

Im one of those who has 1% error after upgrading RSU rom. Now the only possibility for us is to make SD card boottype with good gsm rom on it. To do it we need a serial cable and some soft (dunno now which called in bootloader as PC monitor) to sucesfully download it from working device. Is there anyone who has a working XDA1 device and serial cable and willing to help us ?

Please i Have Jamin when i but it to bootloader and i connection with USB it Cloos but if i but the charger it open and show the bootloader But without USB Just in the top RUU

It seems my USB on my o2 wizard is bricked. Cannot get any connection to any PC anymore (although charging is working). I got SD flash with the original Rom working but to ship it for warranty-repair there is still CID lock necessesary (correct me if I am wrong).
Is there a way to CID lock the device without USB connection?
just intalled mango rom and when trying to unlock with chevronwp7 error..no usb detected.can anyone help here?
have a try through the back usb port of your computer...or flash the rom with unlocked(almost all the the hve been unlocked)
